As we prepare to sail we've learned about the numerous items we will need while at sea - very little of which is clothing. We've decided to take a large duffle full of food (BVI grocery prices are astronomical), snorkel gear, beach towels, hammocks, bathing suits, fishing rods, games, books, first aid, sunscreen - you get the picture. For 5 people this is resulting in a decent amount of luggage. Myself and the girls will all pack in one duffle, Captain and the boy in another - with food crammed in every nook and cranny we can find! Thankfully the customs list of what we can take has proven quite extensive. We began this process on the wknd and quickly realized that the boy has grown out of all his summer clothing so add to the 'to-do' list -source new shorts and swimsuits for him! My role has also been to take care of the 'boat schooling' so I'm connecting with all the kids' teachers to sort out curriculum that will be boat friendly. I'm so thankful for a positive meeting with the guidance head at Max's school and the support they're offering! 36 sleeps. |

Best education you and your worldly children can have is through travel and meaningful interactions with nature and people!! So excited for you! What an adventure. Will love to escape by reading about your experiences!
