1. We get to learn in the Caribbean, not Lake Ontario!
2. The boy (and I) will come back with a great new life skill (or at least a great 'life on a boat' skill). Let's face it, learning at any age is always a good thing. As for our homework, the interwebs has proven to be a fantastic resource, as has our newly developed library of recommended reading. We've talked with quite a few people who have done this more than a few times and the list is consistent. We also have a fishing guide so we can identify what is safe to eat. It's the Captain's dream to catch a Mahi Mahi - not entirely sure what we'll do with it...sushi anyone?
People often ask me if the kids are excited? Truth be told our 14 & 12 year olds are somewhat concerned over the lack of WIFI and our 6 year old is most excited about taking a taxi ride to the airport. Truth folks.
